Our Programs in the Russian language will be divided into several levels based on each child’s language ability and/or placement tests.

Level 1

At the beginning level 1, children will be introduced to Russian through interactive games and simple dialogs. They will learn greetings, colors, basic counting, body parts, commands, and the alphabet.

Level 2

At level 2, children will continue learning the language through poems, rhymes, interactive exercises, and educational games. Your child will start developing comprehension of the language through stories and fairy tales of the famous Russian writers and poets. At this level, your child will gradually build the vocabulary, expand his/her basic conversational skills, and will begin writing letters and simple words.

Level 3 & 4

Levels 3 and 4 are intended for students with fluent Russian skills. Throughout the course, students will master Russian grammar and will work on expanding their vocabulary. They will learn how to express themselves on paper through writing compositions and dictations.

During our literature section, students will master reading selected Russian texts with full comprehension. They will be exposed to the works of the famous Russian and foreign authors.
